C&E is right on schedule to be under roof in eight weeks.
The warmer than usual January that Ohio's Miami Valley experienced this year proved to be a boon to Dayton Area industrial automation distributor C&E Advanced Technologies. C&E announced in September, 2019 that the company would be moving from its current location in Washington Township to Miamisburg, where a 42,000 square foot facility is now under construction and making steady progress due to little interruption from the weather so far this year.
According to C&E President Kerry Cooper, the 42 year old company's new home should be under roof by late March or early April. With the walls already being poured and set, that looks to be a good prediction.
When asked at the new building's first day of wall pouring what it is like to be so far along with construction, Cooper said, "Got to love the smell of concrete in the morning. It smells like progress!"
With 115 employees in four states, C&E assists regional manufacturers with automation, robotics and maintenance solutions. They represent industry leaders like Siemens, Banner and local robotics innovator Yaskawa-Motoman.
C&E hopes to be moved into their new facility by June this year, and the company is documenting the building progress on their YouTube page. You can view the latest video below.
