Reliably detect very thin envelopes, sheets, boxes, polybags and totes when using a roller conveyor system. Banner Engineering's Through-the-Roller (TTR) sensor bar will stop a motorized conveyor when any of it's beams are blocked by a package and resume once the beam is unobstructed signaling that the package has been moved to the correct location or direction. The TTR sensors thin profile design fits easily in the gap between each roller without protruding above the conveyor or side rails.
Eliminating small parts during installation allows for an easy setup of up to seven diffuse sensors spaced across the conveyor. The patent pending spring-loaded endcaps reduce installation and alignment time by nearly 50% compared to traditional polarized retro and retroreflective target installation. Available in custom frame lengths and beam spacing from 200 to 965 mm with two to seven sensors in a compact metal housing that is resistant to ESD damage and fluorescent light sources.
