Monitor your Safety Systems with a Safety Controller Series from Banner

Using safety controllers from Banner ensures safe start and stop functions for machines with hazardous motions.

Safety controllers are a critical and required part of any safety system. They make sure that your safety measures 1) do not fail, or 2) if failure is inevitable, fail in a predictable safe way. Banner has a series of Safety Controllers that are easy-to-use, configurable, and provide expandable modules designed to monitor multiple safety and non-safety input devices. Safety controllers can replace multiple safety relay modules in some applications and may also be used in place of larger, more complex safety PLCs with the use of additional input and/or output expansion modules.

Banner SC10-2 Series

This safety controller is easy-to-use and a cost-effective alternative to safety relay modules. It replaces the functionality and capability of two independent safety relay modules while offering configurability, simplicity, and advanced diagnostic capabilities. It provides 10 inputs (4 convertible), an industrial ethernet port and two 3-channel safety relay outputs.

Banner SC26-2 Series

The SC26-2 is designed to be easy to use, flexible and efficient with a small footprint that includes boolean logic functions for programming flexibility. It can monitor a variety of input devices such as E-stop button rope pulls, enabling devices, interlocked guards or gate, optical sensors, two-hand controls and safety mats. The base controller allows 8 of the 26 inputs to can be configured as outputs for effective terminal use.

Banner XS26-2 Series

The XS26-2 expandable safety controller, allows up to 8 additional I/O expansion modules and has the capability to adapt to a variety of machines, including large-scale machines with multiple processes. Expandable module models have a variety of safety inputs, solid-state safety outputs and safety relay outputs. The easy-to-use configuration software is intuitive and allows programming in minutes.
